The banquet tickets were offered online, and they were limited. I believe you bought two, and when we had to put the $25. seat charge for the awards, because the venue informed us that we could seat only 400 in the room, we had to limit seating. The $25 was donated to Breast Cancer Research at the banquet. 2026 is our last year at the venue due to limited Ballroom space for our Awards. I'm sorry this affected you, and I believe we refunded you for the inconvenience. The limited seating was brought to our attention at the last minute, and we pushed the hotel to put more chairs in the room to reach 500. We are not unaware of what happened with you and your studio. We never intend to overbook an event, which is why we added another event in that city. We are considering a third event to better control this situation. Just want to let you know that we don't do this on purpose, and we refuse other studios that are not already registered. Gary Antle

There have been great strides made in this competition in the last year. Teen/Senior Solos were only around 30 minutes behind for the most part, while groups on Saturday ran ahead of schedule. When the break was scheduled for 10 mins, the judges only took 10 mins. It was very refreshing. I would like to see more time for changes between performances. It's stressful for the dancers, the parents, and the backstage staff.
