COMPETITION DETAIL

We were excited to try this competition because we had not attended before. Always looking forward to checking out new ones. Unfortunately, it was brought to our attention that one of the owners brought her studio to compete at this particular competition. It was the topic of discussion the whole weekend by many teachers and parents. The director was running the competition and also rehearsing her studio. This is completely unacceptable. Why would they think this is ok? Maybe if they had done a guest performance or not competed for awards, it would have been understandable. They had the entire studio there competing and were placing in the overalls. I don’t usually speak up, but this is extremely unprofessional.
