I enjoyed competing here for nationals in 2015. It was pretty fun, and the
venue was a good choice considering the city it was in. There was a leaps,
kicks, and turns competition that I did not know about until it began, so I
didn\'t get to sign up. Later, I looked at the information for it and it
seemed pricey. I wish that the awards could improve by clarifying things a
little better keeping the same categories in one ceremony so we don\'t
have to attend multiple for the same dance. The judging seemed slightly
Competition was in Brainard MN with not a lot of hotel options unless
get a more expensive cabin on the lakes. Prefer auditorium seating
more comfortable but stage was really big. Lots of dressing
Judges were good and my child enjoyed the workshop.
This was our first time at DX Nationals and we will definitely return. My
families loved the location (Brainerd, MN), the schedule was spot on,
plenty of dressing and practice space, quality judges, and great prizes.
Plus they gave every dancer free photo CDs - what a great surprise!
