COMPETITION DETAIL

Dance USA used to be a good competition, but has really gone downhill over the years. We went to a competition a few years ago when our studio was the only studio that attended, except for 4 routines. They refused to cancel the competition and refund our money.

My dancers are first year competition dancers and very much beginners, they enjoyed their experience, they went on stage and modeled tshirts danced during a break in performances. The director and photographers were amazing and my kids fell in love. And Dance Jam was a great experience for them.

Used to love Dance USA, but feel now they are not fair with their judging..they do not always award the best dancers the top awards. There have been consistent instances where a kid has won overall, and had another solo in title, but didn\'t win title when they clearly performed better. Trying to hard to \"share the wealth\" instead of rewarding those who were deserving. Also Dance jams is a joke now, not rewarding best dancers at all.

We\'ve always enjoyed Dance USA! It is a family run competition and the owners really care about your experience at the competitions. It is a great experience for dancers of all ages. My daughter was on the American Dance Team and it is one of the best experiences she has ever had. We recommend this competition. Give it a try, you will be happy you did!

My daughter has attended many of these and has really enjoyed the experience. Fun awards. Great experience if you are part of American Dance Team that travels to Spain.

We used this competition to get a few new pieces on the stage and it isn\'t one of the ones we normally do. That being said, it was just ok. The judges we had (all 3) couldn\'t have been more than a year older than some of our teens. If it was flashy or 90% tricks, it scored well. It was very obvious that the judges didn\'t \"get\" lyrical or contemporary.

This is one of my absolute favorite dance competitions! Very professional & fun! And I love how every single soloist gets a trophy.. My youngest daughter is a beginner dancer & usually isn\'t in the top 5 but feels very special always at Dance USA! Highly recommend this competition!

This is a wonderful and fun competition! They even have their own theme song for the awards show. :) I have twin daughters that always look forward to going to this competition. They love the Dance Jam where they get the opportunity to learn a quick combo on stage and perform for the judges for the opportunity to win scholarships to Broadway Dance Center. The awards show is always very entertaining as they get the audience involved in fun dance off's for prizes. The awards given are of a nice size and quality. The staff is also extremely friendly and the competition is well organized and run on a timely schedule. I fully recommend this competition!

My experience with Dance USA has always been amazing. My daughter has enjoyed not only competing when she was younger but now as a studio owner she takes he students to compete there as well. My daughter was also a member of dance team and had an opportunity to travel to new countries and meet new people all while doing what she loved. I can't thank Dance USA enough for always supporting and encouraging my daughter not only as a dancer but now as a studio owner. Thank you again. Interesting how there are several 5 star ratings right in a row for this competition. Mark Marino a role model?? Did not like this at all. Competition was ok. Ran on time. Awards were confusing and not accurate.

Dance USA is a wonderful family owned and directed competition. I have known the family for many years as my own dance teachers and mentors. The founder, Mark Marino was a great role model for young dancers throughout his life and now his legacy lives on in this competition. The directors have taught dance and owned studios so they are experienced dancers and teachers, not just competition directors. The competition is well run with great awards, great critique from the judges, an opportunity to represent the USA in the world dance championships and a fun, positive environment for the children and parents. I have had the opportunity to work with the directors and each experience has been positive.

I have known these three directors as teachers and students for many years. They run a professional, fair and respectable competition. The caliber of dancers that have come out of there competition have gone on to great careers in dance. The judging is always right on target. Anyone who attends one of these competitions will be very happy!! Enjoy and Ty!!

We've always enjoyed Dance USA! It's has great owners who care about your experience at the competitions. The awards are always nice and they're generous with the awards they give. It's a family friendly environment and great experience for dancers of all ages. We recommend this competition. Give it a try if you haven't ever done so, you will be happy you did!

Great competition! I have attended Dance USA as a teacher as well as a dancer and have a wonderful experience every time. They are a wonderful competition! I would recommend attending one of their competitions.

Have had wonderful wonderful experiences with DANCE USA over the years! A great environment of support and critique with a whole lotta fun built in for the whole family! Love love love! Mark Marino's grand legacy lives on! Also such an honor and an opportunity for the kids to travel to Europe and represent the United States in the World Dance Championships each year! My experience with the American Dance Team has been certainly one of the great highlights in my own life and career as a teacher and choreographer! Winning 1st place in the whole world! I can't even imagine how great this would have been for me as a young aspiring dancer! So thankful! An amazing once in a lifetime opportunity of travel, competition, and dance combine! Definitely don't miss it!
