My daughter just attended Fierce Nationals this past week. She truly enjoyed every minute. She had the opportunity to join the Dance Team, take Master Classes and compete for the Face of Fierce. The competition was well organized, the staff was very helpful and the judging was fair. I also must add how wonderful all the studios were who attended. My daughter made many new friends.

I think people might be confusing Fierce Dance Challenge with Fierce Dance Competition. But in any case, we LOVED Fierce Dance Challenge. Very fair judging, good communication with director prior to competition and at competition. We look forward to attending Fierce Dance Challenge next season. Would recommend for small and larger studios!

If your studio is focused on artistry and technique and you are not one of the preferred studios of this competition, this is definitely not for you. Our studio attended their nationals last year and between their shoddy organization, failure to abide by their own rules and blatant favoritism, our experienced dancers left feeling cheated and will not be dancing at Fierce again. While we had a relatively good experience at the regional, it didn\'t stick out as remarkable, it was well organized and we were treated respectfully. However, our experience at nationals was a different story. The first day there were many technical difficulties, music stopped mid-song or didn\'t start at all. This continued right up until the last day. Although their rules stated that in case of musical failure a second opportunity would not be provided (this rule has since been modified)this was only upheld for certain studios. Large and preferred studios were provided multiple opportunities, while smaller studios with no connections abided by the rules. In an Instragram post by one of the studios who took issue with the practice Fierce responded that it wasn\'t fair when dealing with children to stick to their stringent rules. But apparently only some children matter to Fierce. We were surprised that the majority of titles went to dancers from the same three studios. The Face of Fierce (a competition to the be marketing face of the competition also went to a dancer from one of the dominant studios, whose mother is a Facebook friend of the Executive Director. While the selection doesn\'t really bother me, it\'s your competition you can chose whomever you want to represent it. It is disingenuous to charge other dancers fees for a competition where the winner has been decided already. For these reasons as well as others that I don\'t have space to mention. I can never recommend this competition to anyone.

This competition is pretty generic. We were the only studio there that had groups, so we competed against ourselves. Not a fan of this competition.

This was our 2 season and our first Nationals with Fierce. I have to say that the owners run a very nice, fun, family oriented competition. At this year\'s regional we made so many new friends and they were also at the national competition as well. It was so nice to our dancers and their dancers cheering each other on. There was so much talent at the National competition. We enjoyed so many dances from all the studios that were in attendance. I feel that the scoring was very fair and consistent. We enjoyed the Ice Cream party and the Pop Star Challenge. It is always a fun time when you get the parents in on the dance fun! All the Prop Dads from all the studios were helping each other out the entire competition. It is nice when studios can work together and help each other. We look forward to another great season with Fierce.

Our studio attended nationals and had a terrific time. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The backstage staff worked with my students for costume conflicts and helped to run a smooth event. It was a very family friendly environment where not only te dancers were kind to one another but most studio directors were as well. We left making friends with other studio and cannot wait to see them again next season. My dancers had a great time being a part of the dance team as well as all the classes. The judging was fair and the awards were all well deserved. Overall a great experience and will definitely be attending next season!

Wow. I truly wish I had showed all of these reviews to our studio director before she decided to bring us to this event. I\'m not really comfortable giving negative reviews online, but I feel that I have to under these circumstances. I have to agree with others when it comes to cheating allegations. It seems that if you are not personally very close to a director or judge, you can just forget it. We witnessed one of the judges hanging out with parents from another studio and also staff acting very close with certain dancers, parents and teachers. It\'s important that I mention that my daughter has been competing for 10 years and not with the same studio the entire time. We\'ve been to a great variety of competitions and very rarely get this feeling. The vibe of the competition was not very family friendly either. My daughter is much older, but I have to imagine that others might not have been happy with the constant unedited music being blasted during the party as well as breaks and awards. There were also a ton of inconsistencies! Rules, times, awards, events, literally ANYTHING can change at a moments notice and sometimes without notice at all. The positives I have to say about the Fierce Nationals, my daughter enjoyed the contemporary master class, and the kids did have fun together at the venue.

My children had fun it was a good competition but it was not nice to learn that studios lie about age levels! Especially for solos. The kids talk especially because my daughters are friendly! They enjoy the competitive sport of dance and there was one studio who boasted about a perfect score at your nationals where the kids told my daughter their real ages and it was not where they were competed! Thinking if there were three there were many more! I guess no one verifies and for that reason we did not do your nationals in 2016! Very very unfair! Hope you will do better!

Land of the platinum\'s! 5 diamonds, 2 high golds, and the rest platinum...over 90 routines...Maybe you could give high platinum, because the range between lower and higher levels was obvious. I think this would help the higher level dancer to feel appropriately judged. When you give that many platinum\'s to everyone ...it becomes meaningless.

I am a studio owner and this was our first year at the fierce competition. I had actually thought was organized, and professional . I also know that this will be a successful business because I have gotten excellent feedback from my parents and students. I do not know the staff only on a business level and i have read some comments which IF you are a business owner or HAVE attended competitions before you would know how they are run. Dressing areas vary . Staff are backstage to make sure the show runs on time if possible . Running 20 years of recitals . Overall great competition we wish FIERCE the best and an exciting future!!!

Fierce has to be the worst competition I have ever attended. It was disorganized, and the people who ran it were extremely rude. The awards ceremony were hard to hear because the music was always blasting. The announcer was horrible. Judging was inconsistent.

From start to finish Fierce was frustrating, inconsistent and insulting to our dancers, families & staff. Our dressing room was a hallway entrance to the gym where there was a wrestling match going on. The windows were partially covered which we fixed. We had a lot of quick changes which we were assured the Backstage Manager would work with us on. But they had 4 stage managers running the comp & we were constantly getting yelled at to hurry up. We would have a group exit the stage and one of the managers would come to the hallway with them and yell at us to hurry up even though we gave them a detailed list of our quick changes from the start. The dancers, teachers & parents became resentful of the way we were being treated after all the money we spent to attend. By Sunday the frustration was at a fever pitch. I\'m sure they were frustrated too but that could have been alleviated with a better schedule and/or patience & cooperation. At every competition our staff does a prayer circle & they echo a cheer that the studio has been doing for over 12 years while waiting to perform our Production. As the dancers made their way to the stage one of the Stage Managers said to our dancers \"Maybe you should spend more time knowing what you\'re doing & less time cheering\". HOW RUDE ! We were appalled at such unprofessionalism. To make it even worse although our staff shared with the stage manager that we needed the wings clear for the dancers coming on & off the stage for Production they allowed other props & dancers to be onstage which resulted in one of our dancers getting hurt. The judging was inconsistent also. One very unprofessional issue was the announcer who we later would learn was the owner. She would gush over some numbers after they performed and just say thank you after others. Gush for all not for some ! This isn\'t sour grapes because our dancers did well but the way it was run and we were treated was appalling. At the end we shared our concerns but she didn\'t care.

Best competition my daughters attended last season! Can\'t wait to go back!

My wife and I attend many dance competitions for our daughter, some good, some bad, some too stuffy (if you know what i mean)- I must say we were impressed with \"Fierce\" especially since they are new to competition world. The vibe is energetic, the judges are engaging, there is a DJ keeping the crowd \"Awake\". My daughter especially enjoyed the master class with Carlos Garland from \"So You Think You Can Dance\" We hope our director gives them another go around this season.

Attended a Regional in 2014 with my studio and we LOVED it! Great atmosphere, very young & fun! The DJ was a great touch! Can\'t wait to go back this season and go to Nationals. My students & parents are excited!!!!

Great new competition - the whole studio loved it. We had a great time from start to finish. It was well organized, well run, and a lot of fun. Hope we will be going back again this year!!
