I attended the RDF Convention in 2013. Very disappointing. I have not returned. Pros: - Jimmy John\'s catered the lunch. Cons: - dirty, run down venue - overcrowded; kids dancing on top of each other; no room for observers to sit - odd faculty and choreography

Attended Reaction Dance Force yesterday and had a very good experience. Competition ran on time, plenty of time between numbers for spectators to get in and out without distracting anyone on stage. Judges seemed very enthusiastic about their jobs! Awards were quick and thorough. I like how they offer competitive and novice for levels, with the burden of placing the numbers left to the studio owner\'s discretion. Quite satisfied with this event. We have attended in previous years and they seem to improve every year. Scoring is very stringent - those who get a platinum definitely earn it. They also have a convention that my dancers have attended and enjoyed. I\'d give the convention a big thumbs up!
