What an exciting, high energy venue!

The 1st competition we were at...the judges were up at the top of the auditorium. Because of that, the auditorium was waaaay too dark. Was happy to see them down in front last year.

I like that they have two sets of judges and I love that they acknowledge graduating seniors - however, I was a little turned off by allowing dancers to place in the overalls with more than one solo. First and second overall advanced teen competitive solo went to the same dancer. IMO they should have just given her first, the girl who won \"third\" should have won second, and my dancer who was the only other platinum in teen solo division should have won third - instead of not placing at all because they only did top 3. There were also inconsistencies as much as 11 points between judges on our scoresheets. I also would like to see them make sure every studio gets a special award as the majority of them went to the studio with the most dances.

Runs on time, friendly staff, highly qualified judges. I love that they make it a point to make sure every studio is represented in the overalls and that they make it a point to recognize seniors-it\'s a very emotional year so to get that kind of recognition is a very special moment. Can\'t wait to attend again this season!

Was not a fan of this competition. Ran on time was the only good thing. Judges had vague and mean comments. Judges were not well qualified as there were a conflict of interest with one of the other studio. We received other studio score sheets. Awards were very unorganized.

Terrific experience at this competition. Ran on time, friendly and professional staff, nice venue. I like how they alternated age groups to allow their 6 judges to take turns with the judging. So 3 judges handled each number, but they alternated to give them extra time for notes and comments. The only thing that was odd was how far back their judges were seated. It was probably great for groups, but for soloists, it was far! Also, some of the comments on score sheets were a little vague -- if you write \"Costume?\" you should add what that means, especially when you take points off for it! Overall, a great experience. I hope our studio owner decides to take the whole team to this one next year.
