very good convention, tough judging

It was a nice workshop--too much hip hop though!

Our students had a good time at this event and they had very qualified judges. It seemed fair and well run, and we appreciate that.

Great convention!

One of the worst cases of one sided judging I have ever witnessed! It was awful! And I am not even upset about the awards our studio got, there were other studios there that were so clearly underscored... it was literally unbelievable how completely biased the judging was! I don\'t know if the judges were friends with the studio owners or what... but they need to ditch the identifier they use with each announced number because it CLEARLY sways the judges. It truly is too bad, because their convention teachers are amazingly fun... I hope my studio never attends again... because this is NOT where I want to spend my money!

We enjoyed our time here but I would put it in our second tier of conventions which is sad because most of the staff is AMAZING. Positives: Tucker, Barry, Tyce. Great Staff. Negatives: Competiton age breakdown is different than convention age breakdown. Also, they don\'t let kids move up to an older, more advanced room. The tap teacher taught to the Barney song. I feel like for what we paid my 10 year old advanced dancer should not be dancing to Barney. We are there to grow as dancers and a few of the teachers I felt did not push the kids the way other conventions do. I would go back but wouldn\'t go out of my way to do so.

Our dancers liked it. Thay ran on schedule and had good instructors. Not very big, but seemed ok.

Love this comp and wish our studio went to their Nationals. Well run with excellent staff, USEFUL comments, and very nice photo/video options.

From a teachers point of view the quality of video critics they give after the convention is really high. Some competitions use low res video and poor backgrounds, but CO. Dance has a quality stage, background, videographer, and microphone systems for all three or four judges to leave commentary together. They have actual conversations about the performances instead of receiving four disjointed critiques. Each judge or faculty member represents a specialty in a different type of dance, so no matter what is competing, the feedback is spot on and realistic. They are both positive and professional. Convention is packed with the best...Barry, Judy, Tucker, Gregg and more...so much awesome in one convention! It is a must attend!

We love CoDance. I especially like that there aren't any levels. Everyone is judged with the same parameters. The conventions are consistently good with teachers that know how to instruct.

I\'ve been going to co dance for the past 3 years and I love it! One thing I wish was that they more teachers at there events last year at our event there was only 5 teachers. Overall it\'s great I will be going back again.

Was not impressed

I attended to the orlando convention and totally loved it!! I was dissapointed that i didn´t get to work with tyce because he couldnt make it but instead i got to work with one of my favorite dancer ois the world Robert Roldan. I also got to meet kayla radomski, gregg rusell and many more. I met a lot of girls from other studios who were super nice!

We love this convention and competition. My daughter loves the instructors. Gregg Russell is one of the reasons she is still tapping. This convention is always a reminder to her that tapping can be fun. All of the instructors are encouraging to the kids. The competition is tough, but it challenges the kids to grow as dancers.
