Great circuit of competitions. My kids dance in about 3 of their competitions last year and it was awesome! Love that all the kids feel good about what they accomplished in the year!!

The staff & judging was a joke to put it nicely hoping our dance team chooses another for our nationals. if I could give it a negitive I would!!!!!!

This was one of the WORST competitions our team went to in 2015 it was at Lagoon and the weather was horrible not that they can control the weather but because the weather was so horrible teams were late because they didnt want to stand out in the rain which caused them to run behind and still didnt dock points for them being late which was not fair for the ones who were on time they jumped all over the place for calling teams up to dance and the judges messed up on many score sheets for our team was NOT impressed at all. the venue just didnt have the space for as many teams that was there. We wont be attending this one again

I love and hate this competition. Its a great local event and cheap, they give out lots of trophies and crowns. But the venue is small and they give out way to many 1st. The judges gave alot of feedback and comments for the soloist which is great.

I think they could have worked harder because it seems like the girls have so much more potential in them, they just need to give it there ALL! :)

Some confusion about entries and the correct categories. I didn\'t feel the judging was really truthful or honest. Kind of just gave everyone a pass on awards so everyone felt good about the competition.

The judging seems to be given with a \"feel good\" attitude rather than honesty. Most of the teams score a first place. Each team is scored as if they were the only dance there. Each team is given a placing based on their total score, and in most cases they score high enough to put you in first place. It is common to have 6 first places and 2 second places. The venue at Thanksgiving point is very small and crowded. It is difficult to find a seat and even if yo do you won\'t be able to see well. This is a competition for studios that are more recreational and beginner level. The dressing rooms here are small and must be shared by all the studios together. The competition tends to run for 3 days because of the 2 days of solos. This makes it hard for team members to be supportive of their team mates. I was at Nationals at Lagoon Amusement Park. The larger teams brought tents to use as dressing rooms. Some teams just used the bathrooms, or where ever. The results were posted on the walls. They used several pavilions for the comp. The pavilions had picnic tables for everyone to sit. It was hard to keep track of all the pavilions. The advanced category only had a few teams. Again the judging gave a good feel, rather than a true competition.

Not really a fan if this competition. The venue is super small, and I mean really tiny. The judging is horrible, almost everyone gets 1st place. Nothing really constructive is written from the judges. This would be a great competition for a beginning team, but its a waste of money for advanced dancers.
