COMPETITION DETAIL

This was our first time at Streetz and enjoyed it. The staff was nice, it was organized, we liked the venue. Only complaint is that awards were so late on Friday night (started 11:20PM).

This convention/competition is my daughters favorite! It's a long weekend filled with dance and we love it!!

This convention and competition is run by one of the most stand up guys I\'ve ever met, Ty Riley. He is so generous, positive and accessible to parents, dance teachers and dancers. Ty gathers a variety of teachers and open auditions for assistants in a manner that is fair and considerate. I\'ve been to quite a few conventions and competitions, but this is the one my daughter wants to go to year after year. His conventions are fun, the competitions fair. This year my daughter went to his summer intensive and it was all I could do to get her back home. She had the time of her life (she is 16), enjoyed every minute of the classes and activities plus she came home a much more confident dancer. Please give this con/comp a chance if it is near you. It is always on our short list!

Absolutely LOVE The Streetz Dance Convention! Some amazing teachers and a director that is about the DANCER not the MONEY! We have spent years going to the \'big name\' conventions, along with many small local conventions, and The Streetz consistently remains our favorite one of all.

Great Convention! I just wish there was one in Dallas closer to us than Beaumont!

Attended this convention for the first time this season and we will definitely be back! Fun, quality classes and staff. Everyone was friendly, it was well run, and everything was done on time.I highly recommend.

I would have to say that the Streetz convevention and competition is one of the best ones out there!!! Its tan great and you feel great there. Its almost like their family. So glad we have them!!!

Ty offered a free workshop in summer of 2012. My students loved him so we signed up for the convention in San Marcos last year. We had a great experience, him and his staff are friendly and professional, the teachers were great, competition was run very well. We are going back this season, and many seasons to come. Highly recommend The Streetz!

My daughter has been competing for 8 years. This new dance convention/competition is very well run. The faculty is young, fresh and exciting with tons of energy and enthusiasm. The owner, Ty Riley, is not only an amazing dancer and choreographer, but is also a very nice person. The faculty consists of young and accomplished professional dancers who are just as nice as Ty. The classes are challenging and fresh. I highly recommend.

Ty Riley came to my studio in Louisiana and gave a free workshop!! The students loved him and his work!! It was a great learning experience from the youngest to the oldest!! We will be attending his workshop this year!!!!rn

The owner, Ty Riley, came to our studio and gave a free 1 hour workshop to give us a taste of what The Streetz was all about. He travelled all over Texas and parts of Louisiana doing these 1 hour free workshops. Our students had a great time and are pumped about attending this year. The faculty they have lined up is stellar! Check them out. They are on our list of workshops/competitions that we will be attending this season!
