Very well run. Always nice venues. Very friendly staff.

I loved this competition! Also, really enjoyed seeing the tribute to parents award and letter that is read! I dont think there was a dry eye in there when letter was read from a girl at our dance studio. Hope they come back to Iowa again next year!

This was our second year at Tribute, and once again we loved it. We tried it last year as a replacement competition for one we had to cancel, and I was immediately impressed that when I called for information, the owner himself answered the phone. Darin is unique as a competition owner - he is helpful, considerate, personable, and makes you feel like part of the family. Our dancers and families love the atmosphere. Program books are free to download online, and studios are allowed to take their own photo and video by designating a studio rep to do so. Their competition clothing that\'s available for purchase is much more reasonable that any other competition we have attended. It is well run, fair, and just overall a great experience. Tribute is on our must-attend list, and we can\'t wait to go back next year!

Tough judging all around, but there was some favoritism to larger studios who have relationships with the competition. It\'s sad when your 7 year old recognizes that and you have to explain that sometimes it\'s not just about doing your best on the stage.

Love this competition! Love that they let you take your own pictures and that they let you print out your own program book. The staff is amazing and the results seem fair. Judges comments are consistent and helpful.

Great competition. Loved that I could download my own program. Backstage was great as well. Liked how they moved seamlessly. The staff was very helpful and kind, especially since we only had 4 girls from our studio go to this competition.

Darin truly is a one of a kind competition owner and a great role model for our students. He is very grounded in family and God. We\'ve been to Davenport location and were very impressed. It\'s a bit far for us for worth the trip.

Very small competition in comparison to some. The staff was very nice and they really stressed a family environment. The venue was amazing.

Very well run competition. The staff was great and very caring. This is a competition worth attending!! I didn\'t like the venue though. Kettering High School is one of my least favorite schools for a competition.

Incredible experience for students, teachers, and families. Tribute really created more of an appreciation for our staff, our parents, and our students to everyone involved at the studio and in the company. I\'ve never seen the events start before 4:00 on Fridays--which always makes our parents happy. He also offers FREE program books on his website, and allows studios to wear a badge to do pics and vids of the kids. Saved our families a lot on extra expenses.

I love the Tribute to my Parents award. A lot is done to give back and make this about joy rather than comp. That being said, I have seen this owner between this and a previous organization, and I sense a bit of favoritism to certain studios, and have to wonder if there is some influence in scoring.
