We absolutely love Talent on Parade\'s competition and Pre Pro workshop, and the Dance Directive was exactly what we expect from this fabulous company! Top notch instructors, fabulous choreography and great facilities. For the price, you canNOT beat this event!

Best dance directive out there!!

The absolute most bang for your buck out there!!! For under $100 you get 9 HOURS of non stop dancing with fantastic choreographers from around the country with impressive resumes! I absolutely love that they brought tap back as an optional class. They also have an audition class for the advanced dancers which is great for those planning on a career in dance. The only complaint, or suggestion I would make, is that they should specify that ALL BEGINNER level kids need to have a parent or dance teacher present IN the room with them. Too many times I have seen little 3-6 year olds in the back, totally playing, laying on the floor, doing cartwheels in tap shoes etc. There is just no possible way that the choreographer can address these kids while trying to teach the ones up front that want to learn. I counted well over 40 kids in the beginner room at one convention this year -way too many for a real learning environment as far as teacher to student ratio especially without a parent or teacher to help supervise these little cuties and keep them focused. But again, TOP Dance Directives are our favorite convention for learning (no competition = not paying $250) Super fun, great choreo, friendly staff, and lots of recognition throughout the day equals one happy but tired dancer on the drive home!
