This competition is well run and has a great family-fun-feel to it, but it is a competition where everybody wins! I think they give out overall awards to the point where every kid wins one, which is fine if you're into that, but then just call it a Recital and charge less. Younger kids seemed to have fun on stage for the awards, but really not geared for older dancers. A second-tier competition for second-tier studios and dancers.

My daughter learned a lot. Will return again.
We\'ve been attending Bedazzled competitions for years and have watched as it has gone from a fun, well organized event to a less-than-friendly, somewhat-sloppy event. We will likely not return. With no backstage manager the dj (co-director?) actually had to ask teachers to go look for a missing group and bring them to the stage. It seems that after a good run with this competition the directors are getting ready to call it a day.
I loved the expressions in this
Attended back in 2012 in Peterborough, ON. Dressing room situation was a nightmare. We attended for 4 yrs and each year it was a disaster. Last straw happened when our studio noticed that a dancer was dancing in both pre-competitive and competitive routines, which was against their rules. We brought it to their attention and they decided to let it go and refused to move the routine out of the pre-comp category. We found out later that the studio was the largest at the competition and that they had already agreed to attend the national finals. As a result of them not honouring their advertised rules, we will not go back.
the judging was biased an only big schools won
Very well organized and run, fair judging, good venues for the most part. Many options for regionals and a fun but small finals. (Note, I\'m from Ontario but non US residents can\'t sign up for an account yet)
Loved this competition, sadly we never ended up going back....
