We attended the January 2024 convention in Rochester. It was our 3rd time and we always love it. Almost all the teachers are amazing and keep things fun for the dancers. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and organized! The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is the spectator passes. They’re way too expensive for us not to be able to have a seat to sit in while there are probably over 100 chairs in the room covered in the kids’ dance bags. It would be helpful if you could have staff make some rules around where to put your bags so that the spectators actually have a place to sit. We pay a lot for those wristbands.

We loved attending this convention in Atlanta earlier this year and will be going again to Orlando in May and cannot wait! My daughter loved the instructors and dances!
I can see why many like this convention, sadly we did not. Mostly because there were way too many attendees for the venue. We were in the Mini room. Kids were bumping into each other. There was no space even when divided out to smaller groups because of kids waiting on sides. Instructors on the stage but tiny mini's that were not in the front two rows could not see. Kids were crowding forward to be able to see. The enrollment should be capped or a larger venue should be used.
Really awesome teachers and awesome classes. The venue was perfect for the event. Randi and Heff hip hop is always a highlight. Only complaint was the amount of contemporary for the Senior age group. Seniors took four contemporary classes in one day! It’s an awesome style but Jazz, Ballet and Musical theater are also important to dance education.
Great classes and excellent competion with great critiques
24 seven has always been a good competition/convention. We have attended several in different cities, such as Chicago, Kansas City and Des Moines. The competition is always very well run, very organized and runs smoothly. The classes seemed to be challenging for my daughter, which she loves. Teachers are amazing. Attending the Dance Awards is always something my daughter like to work towards, so this is just one of the conventions that helps her to do that
Fun competition. Great critiques. Classes were challenging just like we like.
Excellent convention with the exception of crowded rooms. Francisco Gella is one fabulous teacher. We absolutely enjoy his class and take as many as we can. Not to take away from any of the others, they are great too. Not a fan of the venue, but many conventions are held there.
We really like 24/7 competition and convention. The classes were well instructed and my daughter loved the choreography of the master classes!! The instructors were very friendly and seemed to truly care about the dancers and their future in dance. We also felt the competition was well run professional. We will continue to attend as long as they are within our range of travel!! Looking forward to seeing the again this next conpetition season!
We attended the convention/competition for the first time in Pittsburgh and overall it was a good weekend. The rooms for convention classes were not over crowded and the competition ran quite smoothly. Judges/Critiques/Scoring were good and seemed fair and accurate. What I did not like is that some of the instructors would not take pictures with the students and for the amount of money we pay a 2 second pictures especially for the younger students who are eager and excited with the staff. While I understand that time does not permit for it between classes, there should be an opportunity for pictures at the end of the day; or perhaps at the end of the convention. Also, the merchandise area had really nice items, but was out of stock from day 1 set up with anything over a child Large :/ We had to order the jacket my daughter wanted off of the website; at least they have one. :)
2017's move to Bellevue was good in terms of lodging for sure but a little disappointing for the convention. The mini room was too mini and, while the Junior room was large, the necessary configuration was wonky so not all the space could be used efficiently by the dancers. First year competing was a good experience. Judging was fair, ran on time, and the finale awards show was great, not painfully long. ? Seattle 2016 was our third year attending convention. It is always great. They had some issues in 2015 which seemed to be addressed this year. Either ballrooms were expanded or enrollment was lowered, but there was much more room for the dancers to...move. A strength of their conventions is their instructors. Only one or two have ever been less than excellent. Not only knowledgeable in their craft but so good at working with, encouraging, and mentoring kids. While the actual event areas are great, the hotel is older and not so great. Glad they\'re moving to Bellevue for 2017, hoping for a better hotel! Love 24 Seven!
We attended 24 Seven in Seattle this past weekend. I will start with the positives. The staff was very friendly. My daughter loved the instructors and the combos were not over the top difficult, so that was nice. tWitch was one of their instructors, and before the convention started, our dancers saw him in the lobby helping set things up. They took it upon themselves to ask him for a picture, and he was so kind and willing to stop what he was doing for a second, pose with them and even smile. Very appreciative of that! The event was well organized, and they offered nice merchandise. Now the cons. While the instructors were nice, they stayed on the stage the whole time and taught only choreography (tWitch did come down amongst the dancers to give some advice, which was nice). No tips, no interacting with the dancers to see if they were doing it correctly, no classes solely to help improve the dancer. The dance floor was constantly coming apart. The squares were detaching leaving space between other squares which I was worried about a dancer's foot going between the space and hurting an ankle. The outside metal part was detached from the floor too. Our dancers were only able to do the one day option, and per their website, Saturday was the recommended day, so that is what we registered for. Since they were only registered for the one day, they were not eligible for any scholarships or able to do the audition. Normally, I wouldn't make too much of a fuss, but don't recommend Saturday for the one day and then hold auditions on Saturday. That was 2 classes taken up on saturday. Luckily they were able to at least stay in and learn the audition combo. We also purchased observer bands. That was also a disappointment because they don't offer a price for one day, and then we couldn't even be in there for 2 of the classes since no parents for audition combo or audition. A one day observer price would be nice. As I said above, their merchandise was very nice, however, it was also very pricey ($60 for a pair of leggings). All that being said, my daughter enjoyed herself. She said while she didn't learn anything other than improving how she picks up choreography, she enjoyed all the combos and the instructors.
Love all the Break the Floor Competitions and Conventions! Always the best teachers and most fun ever for the dancers. The Competitions are exciting and extremely fair with knowledgeable judges. Can\'t wait for the next one this year!
We did our first 24 seven m convention this fall, 2016. We have been in competition for four years, so I was excited about a new opportunity. The convention was very well staffed, very personable, and love the energy of every instructor. I was pleasantly surprised about how the instructors applauded the competitive spirit in the room. They ask the girls if they were challenged in the class. Almost everyone raise their hand. They applauded that the girls where there to be challenged and be better dancers. In the competitive dance world, I love that this convention voiced the positive parts of healthy competition. Very high caliber instructors and classes.
This is an amazing competition!!! A lot of high level talent!!
Our 2nd year attending and it was fabulous! Excellently run. Everything was planned ahead and ran perfectly on time. Awesome Director, Inspiring teachers as well as friendly staff. Highly recommend and can\'t wait to go again.
Last year was ou 1st year! Define toy doing it again this year!
We have attended 3 times in the last 4 years. Wonderful instructors. Somewhat political - we happened to go to a city this year that a lot of the dancers who are known by name to the instructors also attended. It was extremely hard to get noticed due to that and due to amazing talent in the room. BUT was still an wonderful learning experience. Within 30 minutes my daughter asked if we could attend another city this season. Judges critiques were very helpful. We will definitely return again.
Fair judging for the most part. Seems to pick Studio Owners favorites... Rumors of course right? Would have given 4 stars but Venue is terrible...
Love, love, love! My kids actually asked before we left if we could return next year! Fantastic faculty! Kids always leave feeling incredibly encouraged And months down the road they are still doing choreography learned and quoting the instructors. Cannot say enough good things about it!
Well run competition/convention.
Just returning from this venue, and convention I have to say, I am by far beyond disappointed. The mini room was in a conference room that was not designed to fit that many girls in the room. I do not have an issue with the room necessarily being packed if it is an appropriate room to accommodate. Let\'s keep in mind some children are there for the weekend just for the convention. To get better and learn. So the least you could do is ensure my child can see the instructor, and if that means setting up a screen on the side of the room that dips in where you can not even see the stage, and the teachers are not getting down and getting personal, then I\'d say yea! The Sheraton Hotel is no longer a good site, not this weekend. This weekend was filled with inappropriate adults there for St. Patrick\'s Day. They were everywhere. They were in the venue, outside the venue, and everywhere you went to try and eat. This is a yearly thing! So please your convention at Pittsburgh I\'m assuming could be great like it is everywhere else, I think you need to find a better venue!
Ran well!!!
My daughter attended this event last spring in Seattle and had a great time. Great faculty with a great message. The competition actually ran early on Saturday night. Definitely a great event. Can\'t wait to attend again this year.
A good faculty and my daughters enjoyed it. I have found that they make a lot of mistakes in the audition process. They seem to miss some of the top kids--from several studios. Their judging in competition also seems funny. Not as good as Jump or Nuvo.
Great experience! This was my daughter\'s second time at 24/7 convention and first time competing there. Faculty was phenomenal. Twitch is their most well-known instructor and he was so engaged and energized both in the mini room and the teen room, where my two daughters were. He teaches each class as if it was his only one of the day and never tires of working with the kids. Such a standout and wonderful role model! All of the other instructors were first rate. The venue was great because the ballrooms were gigantic and even though it was well-attended there was room for the kids to move. Competition moved along on time, awards were quick, judging seemed very fair but tough. We will be back!
The faculty was amazing and the level of talent is awesome. The merchandise is SO cute especially loved the reversible bra top. 24/7 attracts so many good dancers and placing in the overalls is more meaningful when you have such good competition. Also the stage is perfect and looks so cool in pictures
Great faculty. Too crowded. Need to cap registrations or get bigger ballrooms.
While the faculty are amazing, there is room for improvement. First and foremost, the children\'s safety needs to come first. The mini room was far too crowded. Physically, this prevents issues as the children are kicking and stepping on eachother. Mentally, the children are anxious, worried they have to space to be their best dancer. There are two options: book a larger venue or accept fewer entries. Wonderful conventions such as this one are getting labeled as \"in it for the money\" when the dance rooms are too crowded. In addition, once the schedule is released, faculty should not change. For example, this is the second year in a row Twitch missed this venue. Finally, one tap class versus three hip-hop? Please do better especially with the amazing Danny at the helm.

Va beach was not well attended. 10/30-11/1/15. Some pulled out@the last min to avoid competing against another studio. I don\'t they should have access to that info. It was a great comp nonetheless.
My Girls loved it. Big names, the best teachers and they are all so down to earth. Great convention!!!!
:)
GREAT TEACHERS!
Wonderful
One of the best conventions we\'ve been to. Great critiques from the judges. Classes were fun and the teachers got off the stage and onto the floor to give corrections. Unfortunately this year they will be in our area on a holiday weekend so our studio won\'t be competing group numbers but we will still go for the classes. Love that they have a live web so family out of state can watch the competition.
One of my dancer\'s favorite conventions! The classes & teaching staff had such a large & lasting influence on her. She still remembers all of the choreography! Great experience!!!
24seven offered fun and intense workshops, the judges and teachers were great. Just wish the kids could be watched better to receive scholarships. We had a great time!
I enjoyed 24 Dance!! It was a great experience!
Jam packed classes, great faculty. My dancer enjoyed it.
It was a fun convention! I loved all of the teachers!
Had such a great time! Hope to return! Please come back to Des Moines!
good one
Awesome convention! The staff was amazing! Yes the rooms were pact over 200 teens in the room was a bit much but overall the experience was worth it!
We attended the convention in Dallas this weekend. Absolutely love the teaching staff. They taught challenging material and taught for the entire hour. They didn\'t stick around for pictures unless it was lunch or the end of the day since they taught up until the last possible second and then ran to their next class. The ballet teacher is incredible. He requires the room to be quiet and respectful so that everyone can learn. The tap teacher taught a challenging yet reasonable tap combination. There was a lot of contemporary instruction. Over half of the classes were contemporary based. We did not participate in the competition, but did watch a few hours of the teen competition. Loads of contemporary groups! We loved this convention and are hoping they will have one in Tulsa area next year! If not, we will still find a way to go back!
First time at this competition in Seattle! It was fantastic! Well run and staff was fabulous!
The staff at 24/7 was very warm and welcoming! This was one of our first experiences with competition, and it was an amazingly positive one!
Very organized, run really well. Too much focus on contemporary for us; but a pretty good event. I found a couple of the instructors to be a little \"over the top\"...belittling individual dancers in front of the entire room; which is unfortunate.
I think the 24/7 comp was a tough competition. The judges are very knowledgable in the majority of the styles. I was VERY disappointed in the approach and judging of dancers who forgot their routine and ran off stage. I feel these dancers should have the opertunity to have another chance to perform sure., tAnd even be judged on the computer judging, but I feel that placing them in over all after they ran off stage is wrong. These dancers should be disqualified for over all placements. After all this is a competition. I rate a three star wily for the the lack of professionalism in that part of the competition
Great competition and convention. Attended in Seattle and had a great weekend. The competition was well run and even ran early the first night. The convention was great. Terrific instructors. My daughter really enjoyed it. She had a big smile on her face for most of the weekend. Definitely recommend this one.
Love the professionals/teachers used by 24 Seven at their conventions. Good Job!
Great staff! Very timely. We love going to 24/7 every year.
LOVE IT !!! BEST !!!! FACULTY IS THE BEST I’VE SEEN and DONE !
I\'d have to say that 24 Seven is the best convention from Break the Floor. The class sizes are perfect and the staff is experienced and friendly. As a dancer in the teen room, it was such a positive environment mainly because the other dancers were there to learn, not to win a scholarship. People weren\'t pushing to the front of the room or going in extra groups to get noticed in San Antonio. I hope 24 Seven comes back to San Antonio next year!
Great class sizes.
Absolutely loved 24seven!! Everything from the class sizes being smaller to the instructors taking time to talk to the kids to them being willing to take picture after picture!!! We will be back!!
First class all the way. Great faculty, great staff, quality production. I expect this from Break The Floor, but 247 really impressed us.
Convention and competition are extremely organized and well run. There is something for all levels of dancer, and as long as they are actively participating there is no way your dancer won\'t leave with new technique or knowledge. Love it!!!
Great competition- extremely organized and well-run. No unnecessary stops or breaks. It ran ahead a little. The teaching quality was great, and all the girls had a fabulous time as usual! Personally, I prefer JUMP and NUVO, but 24seven lived up to my high expectations for any Break the Floor competition/convention!
First time going to this convention in San Diego. Great faculty and for the most part a positive experience for my dancer. The only negative thing I have to say is that once the faculty breaks out the clipboard suddenly groups 1-4 seem to become a lot larger than they were moments before. It is not fair to those dancers that are abiding by their true group number and only take the floor when they are called out to do so. I realize everyone wants a scholarship/recognition but manipulating the rotation is not fair to the collective group. I wish 24/7 would direct their faculty to at least address this up front in the spirit of fairness. I know this goes on at other conventionas as well but it is a dirty little trick that is always overlooked.
Fun convention this year (we have been several times). Was kinda bummed Twitch and Sonya weren\'t there. Overall, had a great weekend.
See you in a couple weeks! 24/7 is an awesome way to start the season every year! Great faculty and great attention to detail.
Sooo excited for 24/7! Amazing faculty! Class sizes don\'t get too big in our area which is a huge bonus.
Teachers are top notch but I\'m not a fan of how early in the season this is for us. The beginning of November doesn\'t leave much time to prepare.
Outstanding Faculty, great competitive studios.
Great atmosphere! Great faculty, just awesome! VERY professional.
Teachers were amazing! Loved it from start to finish.
My daughter attended her first 24Seven Convention/Competition in April of this year and SHE LOVED IT. I observed some of the classes and really loved the way the teachers talked to the kids. You can tell they love their craft. I also really loved the IMPROV with the teachers. It was amazing to watch. Definitely putting this one on the list to go to multiple cities next season!
Friendly, professional staff, teachers and excellent competitors. Convention was fantastic. My junior\'s favorite.
Just OK. Staff not very helpful. Expensive.
Amazing faculty and amazing vibe. I had the time of my life and can\'t wait to go back!
Great instructors!!! Very organized and efficient.
This was a fun well ran convention. My daughter is 7 years old and was in a room with 11 year olds. It felt the instructors taught more to that level so at times my daughter and her friends got discouraged. Twitch was amazing!
Super fun Convention! My daughter really enjoyed this one.
Super fun convention - my daughter had a blast!
Such a friendly staff. Very well ran!
This is my least favorite convention ever. Almost every class started 10-15 minutes late and the staff is not friendly. Very disorganized at the video booth and critiques took forever to come because they did not have them together at the end of the event.
Great convention and fun teachers. The dancer enjoyed the teachers and classes.
I LOVED THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our first time doing this one. Love the way Break The Floor organized their events, very professional on so many levels. The downside is the large class sizes, just never a chance for decent corrections. They have an amazing faculty and staff! Would definitely do again.
Amazing teachers and a welcoming team! Class sizes don\'t overwhelm your dancers! GREAT TEACHERS ONLY ROOM!
Great convention and competition! tWitch was fabulous with the minis and even those who never really cared for hip-hop came out of class loving it! The mini room had a lot of children in it, but the space provided for the amount of dancers was very good. I would suggest they add additional ballroom flooring to all rooms since the majority of children end up dancing on the carpet. The schedule for the younger dancers had all mini dances on Friday night which allowed them to enjoy Saturday evening after a full day of classes. This way they were also not exhausted for Sunday classes. We were surprised that solos actually began Friday morning at 8 AM. We were not expecting that. We will be prepared for that possibility next year as I am sure we will return.
I really think that this is by far one of the best conventions out there. Even far better than the \"sister\" companies JUMP & NUVO (I enjoy them as well, but I don\'t think they compare). Most other conventions these days are about stroking the faculty\'s egos or \"what new 18 year old child can we hire from SYTYCD?\". 24 Seven has such an amazing faculty. They get down on the floor with the kids and interact with them! There is a wonderful improv class on Sunday morning that ALL of the faculty attends. It really is amazing. By far my dancer\'s favorite class. Plus Danny is amazing. So down to earth and has personally responded to all of my emails.
We have been to this convention multiple times and each one is as good as the first. The program is run so smoothly, competition runs on time and sometimes finishes early. The teachers are AMAZING and truly love what they do you can tell by the time they take for pictures and to talk with the kids. THANK YOU for such a great program for my daughter.
Kids had fun and it ran on time. Really liked that our families could watch from home if they didn\'t attend via streaming. Will go back.
Went to LA convention and it was ok. The male teachers were great specially Twitch. Female teachers we\'re ok but nothing too thrilling about them. Too much contemporary. Would like to see more jazz\\lyrical. Sonya wasn\'t there
definitely one of my favorite conventions/competitions. Anthony Russo\'s tap class is one of the best. Also, the stage for competition is one of the better stages that travel with competitions.
Love this one! Excited to go back in April!
Their attention to detail is amazing. Loved the personal touches!
Great staff, ran on time!!! Loved how quickly they kept the closing show flowing.
I am once again giving this convention 5 stars because it is simply one of the best out there. My daughter went to the convention twice last season and will be going twice this season too. The teachers are absolutely amazing and the competition is truly fair. This is by far my daughters favorite!
24/7 was well organized, great faculty, awesome stage.
My daughter attended the Chicago convention, and said that the attention to detail and kind instructions given by the male instructors was her favorite part of the weekend. The other teachers went too fast, and did not seem to care whether or not everyone caught on to the dances. There were some dancers who were extremely rude, pushing, and giving other girls bloody noses just to remain in the front row! I truly hope the coordinators of this convention saw the rudeness displayed by some dancers, and can come up with a way to reward those dancers who were polite, and took care of those who were injured.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this past weekend in Chicago what it was. My daughters and all of her fellow dancers left with a new found confidence and appreciation for the art of dance that I believe they could not and would not have gotten at any other event. The rooms were a tad bit crowded but the faculty managed to make the rounds in each class and actually instill some TRAINING into the dancers. I have yet to attend another event of that size and see a teacher make individual corrections on children who do not have that \"star\" quality. I also loved that they had a class for children whom were too young to take a full weekend convention. I got to sit in for the the hip-hop and jazz session for the little ones that they called Side-kicks and was so inspired by how invested the teachers were in making sure that everyone was seen and felt confident enough to get on stage! I was also taken back by how many scholarships they gave out at the end. I will definitely be coming back next year with my girls!
We just attended 24/7 in Chicago. What a great weekend! Classes were great and all agreed Anthony\'s tap classes were the hit of the weekend! Sonya was inspiring and Francisco\'s ballet was amazing. Thank you to Danny and his staff for being so positive for everyone. Competition ran smoothly and awards given out in a timely manner. Thank you . We can\'t wait for next year!
We just finished the Chicago convention. The teachers were amazing. The staff however was not. We drove from Ohio to attend this convention and we had missed the 8am Saturday morning stretch and unfortunately had not been told that the senior room was located in the basement area of the hotel until Sunday morning. The sign was located in an area that you could find if you knew. Also we had checked wrist bands..they were the same color. There was a sign, however, you would have only found it if you knew you were looking for an alternate route. Long story short when we finally found someone at the registration table we were rudely and arrogantly told that it was basically our fault and basically that we were lying. This was from the \"manager\". We informed him that we owned up to our part we thought the signs should have been posted differently and we were given a \"i totally understand how you feel but if you were in the orientation\" I informed him that we come from a large studio who was excited to see how well this convention ran and that he would now have 200 parents informed how rude and unprofessional the management staff was and all we were told was \"good for you.\" Very unprofessional service.
We just finished the convention this weekend in Chicago. My daughter had a great time and learned a lot. It seemed very crowded in all the classes but they did a good job teaching all the dancers. I loved that the awards were lightening fast!!!! Very well run!!
A group of us went to the 2013 Detroit convention. It was fabulous. Twitch and Sonya both there. Our dancers loved this convention. Highly recommend!!!!
Orlando 2013 Sad Twitch did not show and Sonya was sick :{ It was crowded the dancers are fine but they need to not allow parent viewing or at least control them. I went in just to make sure my mini was drinking and ok (she was having asthma issues this weekend). These parents were moving kids bags, blocking access to bags and really quite distracting and loud in general. My daughter dances I support, I would love to see a convention limit parent viewing to last 5 - 10 minutes and stop having them in there distracting my dancer! The teachers however were fabulous, but little kids can do more than jazz, ballet and tap. I would love to see the contemporary teachers teach contemporary or lyrical vs. Jazz or jazzy musical theatre. We did not compete but plan on it this year.
I have not yet taken any dances to their competition but I plan to this year. This is hands down my favorite convention I have ever been to! Danny and the rest of the team at 24seven were wonderful!!!
It was a great convention with fun staff. Exactly what we were looking for!
Loved this convention, really bummed they do not have our city posted for 2014, hoping they add it!!
My daughter really enjoyed the convention in Chicago! The only problem was the mini\'s room was way too small and overcrowded.
My daughter and I attended 24/7 in NJ and it was amazing. The competitions ran smoothly and on time, the stage was super nice, family that couldnt attend watched the live feed online and also loved it. The workshops were great the instructors were very clear, positive and it was so nice of them to stop and take photos with the kids. It was all very stress free being around people that are there because they alllove to dance.
Wonderful convention, couldn\'t ask for more.
Great experience!!

Love it!
Doesn\'t get any better than this! They do it right.
We attended 24-7 in Chicago. Great classes, very organized and love the personal attention for the teachers. My students had a great experience. Classes were a good size so the dancers were able to get individual corrections. We would definitely do this one again.
I loved this convention, for the most part. Sonya's class was very inspirational and also emotional. I didn't love the overload of contemporary, wish there was some more jazz. I loved the tap and ballet, though. Very positive experience for everyone!
24/7 is a fairly new convention and competition, but it is doing really well. The teachers are fantastic and super inspirational. There were many contemporary classes, so if that is strong suit, this convention is great. There was an improv class that I learned a lot from. Anthony Russo is also one of my favorite tappers and he is just a fun person to be with. Go to this convention!
Too much contemporary
lots of contemporary, but a very awesome environment!
Great competition and convention. Alot of contemporary if that is your preferred style. Incredible teachers that have very inspiring and intellectual things to teach. They are all very passionate about what they do and it shows very clearly through their teachings. So much fun! Can't wait to go back next year!
Amazing!!!! Class was so much fun and the teachers are great!!!!! I Love Anthony Russo's tap class!!!!!! Love him <3
Our kids had a blast at 24 seven! The faculty was incredible! The kids loved every teacher! The 24 seven staff was so welcoming and easy to approach with any problem we may have had. Everyone went home feeling inspired and eager to learn! We can't wait to go back next year!
