Another competition where an average boy can walk away feeling like a "best" dancer b/c he gets built up while the hundreds of girls in the room fight for the remaining attention. Surely we've come further in this world that we can demand better for our daughters. Teachers, our girls deserve better.

Great staff and fun event! Like others, it gets too crowded but it wasn't crazy last time we went.
Very crowded convention, scholarship and awards were only given to the kids who have been attending them since they were minis and studios who have been coming for years. If you are the only kid representing your studio at comp or convention - forget about placing or getting recognized. The same 3 or 4 studios placed in top 10 overall even though there were more deserving dancers but they brought the money so they were awarded. The teaching at the convention was challenging but good.
We love Nuvo! We've attended for several years, and always have good experiences there. The convention room can be crowded, but that's to be expected. I hope they keep the taped-off squares on the floors they used for COVID spacing; it was helpful.
Love Nuvo, but no refunds is pretty bad. Especially, when you sent out a pandering email to everyone saying, "next year you'll get a full refund if we cancel". Def expect better from BTF.
So our studio does not compete at this venue, thank God. I have REAL issues with their convention. There rooms are PACKED out! It’s obvious that they only care about the money. I observed all weekend. The staff has favorites that follow their convention. They know them by name and some are sudo famous already. The staff gives the majority of their attention to these students. The remainder of their attention goes to their helpers. They will sit and watch their assistants dance and praise them as the rest of the 400 kids get to look at their backs. But my favorite are the discussions some of the staff had. Telling dancers to be present which I agree with, but in the same sentence, don’t desire to be picked or noticed. Seems like an oxymoron. Show up and dance and have emotion on your face, but act like you don’t care. Please teach me how that one works.
We're a recreational studio with a new competition team, I signed us up for NUVO this spring and then stressed about it for months. I didn't think we would be able to keep up with the amazing talent that Break The Floor events bring in. My kids LOVED this convention and the feedback we got from the judges was TOP NOTCH. We will definitely be back. Side note- Will and Kenny gave 0 feedback in their judge critiques which was a bummer, but the stuff we got from Stacey, Denise and Anthony was plentiful and super helpful :).
Love Nuvo! We have been attending since the first year. Great classes and faculty. Top notch from Denise Wall, Travis Wall, Stacey Tookey, Anthony Morigerato , Ray Leeper and all of the talented faculty. We are a tap studio and love that Anthony Morigerato is part of this faculty. Great teacher, judge and mentor! Ray is a very accessible and a positive leader. Thank you for providing a positive learning experience with a fair and positive competition experience.
Can't say enough great things about Nuvo! We usually attend two of their regional events throughout the year, Omaha and Kansas City. They have great staff, a well run competition, fair judging with helpful critiques and the venues are always close and convenient. Class and faculty are top notch!! We have attended Nuvo ever since my daughter started competiting and each year we have wonderful experiences! 5 stars for sure!! They are our first competition of the year, which is coming up in Omaha, so we are excited!!!
Anthony Morigerato is one of the most talented, humble, and down to earth teachers/choreographers you will meet at any convention or comp out there! We will keep taking our studio back year after year as long as he's there. Our kids LOVE Nuvo!
This year we attended both NUVO Pittsburgh for the first time and returned to NUVO Buffalo, as we always do. We had two very different experiences. NUVO Pittsburgh was a great experience! The atmosphere was light and positive. The girls had a great time and the judging was very fair. NUVO Buffalo was a completely different story. The atmosphere at Buffalo was anything but positive and fun. Judging seemed unfair and biased, toward both studios and dance style. If it was the one style they were looking for, it didn't score well, no matter how ell the dancer danced. Jason should NOT be allowed to judge, EVER! His comments were rude and often on things out of the girls control, like choreography and costume choices or colors. I didn't pay over $100+ for him to tell a dancer that the blacks on their costume didn't match or the logo should be a different color. If he has choreography issues, they should be addressed through the teacher not the dancer! Will didn't even watch have the time and made a comment on a video about just joining in as he was shuffling through papers. This was about 45 seconds into the dance. Really?? His comments were few and far between. Girls liked the combos and workshop classes, but there seemed to be a lot of favoritism in Buffalo as well, which is unfortunate that the hard working dancers picked up on it. They don't seem to follow there own rules either. It says in their workshop rules that once you win a standout in one city, you are eligible to receive another one in a different city, during the same season. This seemed to apply to some students and not others. The girls left Pittsburgh feeling great about themselves and their skills but left Buffalo feeling defeated and having their confidence shattered. These are not professional dancers. They look up to you for positive encouragement and guidance, not rude and biased comments.
Great critiques. Fun weekend.
We absolutely love Nuvo and always attend 2-3 each year. We love how well organized they run their competition. The judges critiques are always very helpful and very fair. The convention is also the main highlight for my daughter. There is one instructor that she doesn't like and always enjoys the combos that are taught. It is definitely one of favorites for sure. Looking forward to seeing them again this next competition season!
NUVO is a Great Convention experience! We love taking class with Travis Wall and Mark Meismer and all the other amazing choreographers. Competition is tough and tends to favor male dancers and large studios but it's a great performance experience. Definitely attending again this year, convention makes up for competition. Only problem is that there's no parking available at the Miami Beach Venue. Venue is beautiful though with a lovely view of the ocean
Dearborn, MI. Hotel is not the greatest...competition location could be better...convention space is good. Schedule and convention are done well. Staff is great as always for Nuvo. Nothing be wonderful things to say about Anthony Morigerato! He could be the only staff/faculty member and I would drive for hours to have my kids attend. Seems like the awards are trying to make everyone happy...categories have 10 places...then you have 3-4 "ties" at each place...so instead of 10 awards you have 30...what?! Very odd...just have 10 place awards...stop giving everyone "awards" for participation.
Great convention loved the energy from the teachers. It was at a great venue rooms were nicely spread out so you couldn't hear the music from other rooms. Love all of the banners and lights it made the kids feel like they were a part of something huge. Great central location in Chicago away from the crowded downtown area but close if you wanted to go. My only complaint is my daughter did win a scholarship and he name was left off the list. Luckily one of the parents looked when we got home and noticed that she was on there. Other than that outstanding event, it's just it's exciting when you are there if your name is called Thank you be back next year!
First time attending and we were a bit shocked at the venue room prices, the crowdedness of the rooms (the seniors were in an L-shaped room that was so crowded they were tripping over each other) and the competition ran until midnight. We will give it another try, but will go for a different city this time. We love the faculty, so we are hoping it was just that location.
Nuvo was amazing! Staff is very friendly, instructors all did an amazing job from Nubies - Seniors. Love that they had a Nubie performance, selected scholarships and showcased dancers.
Love love love this competition and convention. Great staff with lots of energy! My daughter absolutely loved the master classes and the teachers! We will continue to go back whenever we have the opprotunity!!
Great staff and energetic fun atmosphere! My daughter loved this convention and was awarded a scholarship to attend Dancerpalooza. So much fun!
This was my daughter\'s first convention and she absolutely loved it! Anthony and Stacie were her favorite teachers! They were very inspiring to the kids!!
My kids have attended Nuvo since 2013. Every year has been an amazing experience. Great instructors, well organized, good venues and amazing classes. Every single year has been 100% worth it!
She was in love! Learned so much as well as got to watch amazing studios and peers. She is excited for this years again! It was during the Republican National Convention at the Gaylord Hotel and was a massive venue but was an awesome experience. The security was great, may have been upped from the convention, but I\'ll take it!!
Our daughter competed at NUVO Chicago in March 2016. She also attended classes the whole weekend. We felt the judging was very fair and there was a good variety of talent competing. Then venue was large enough and nice for the convention classes and competition. The choreographers conducting classes were beyond amazing and so amazing! We look forward to attending another convention in 2017.
I highly recommend Nuvo! The teachers and staff are phenomenal. The teacher workshop with Denise Wall and Ray Leaper was very informative and helpful. Very beneficial for any dance professional at any stage in their career. I wish there was a larger/ better facility in the NJ area as they have out grown this hotel. I am however thankful they are coming to NJ and will continue to make it work. It is worth the mediocre facility to have the opportunity for my dancers and myself to train with the best teachers and choreographers in the industry!
Great experience so far! Classes are awesome. Great way to start our season!!
We have been attending this convention for the past 8 years. It is truly one of our favorites. The teaching faculty is absolutely amazing and I love the way they really connect with the dancers. The customer service is incredible. Ray is truly the nicest guy and will go out of his way to answer any questions or to fix a problem you might be having. I highly recommend this convention!
NUVO is my favorite convention. I\'ve never competed there but will this year, so I cannot speak on the competition portion until then. As for the convention, it is top notch. The teachers are fantastic, every single one of them. The classes are hard, as they should be, because what\'s the point of an easy class? Also, some reviews for the meadowlands location said its a poor facility. Where they hold it every year is a very nice place, with large rooms, even with teens/seniors combined. Is it tight? A bit, but the teachers frequently put you in groups so you can move and be inspired by dancers currently on the floor when you aren\'t. Scholarships are fair and in the three years I\'ve gone I\'ve never seen a kid who wasn\'t deserving win. Can\'t wait to go back! Also excited to compete here for the first time!
We attended Nuvo for the first time this year at the Meadowlands location. Venue was way too small and hotel was outdated looking inside and in need of updating. It was also over priced. The teens and seniors were mixed into one ballroom and it was way overcrowded. For some reason they had to take down the video monitors so it made it quite difficult for the dancers in the back to see the teachers on stage. My daughter said sometimes the teachers would have the front half sit so the back half could see. Definitely not equal opportunity for everyone because of this. Heard from a few dancers one or two of the teachers were overly tough in how they spoke to some kids and one was downright mean. That being said, my daughter loved each and every class and was inspired by both the staff and talent level in the room. She wants to go again next year. Competition was tough as was judging but we knew this going in. Usually not a fan of ballroom stages but Nuvo\'s was one of the largest I\'ve seen and it was quite nice. Anthony\'s solo blew us away at the closing show. Another thing that some of the kids said was you could tell that some of the dancers already knew the combos because they attended in other location (s). They really should not repeat combos to make it more fair. I also want to say the quality of their dvds is fantastic. The dances are shot from different angles and not just straight on. Very professional looking.
This is a very fair evaluation as a Parent in my 5 years of dance competitions experience with 2 daughters and tons of money and time spent. First and foremost, Faculty and Talent of Kids are amazing as a lot of the \" Who\'s who of dance on the West Coast was in attendance \"at the recent Phoenix, Arizona Comp this weekend. With that being said, it was no easy task to judge and overall of keeping it fun, entertaining and organized, my daughters enjoyed themselves. In my personal opinion there seems to be a lot of politics, favoritism and rumored behind the scenes of Scholarship Winners being picked out by Studio Owners based on how many entries were given. I know it sounds like a conspiracy theory but I wouldn\'t doubt that the greed of money could nfluence judging. Btw, I\'m not a bitter parent but a believer of running a fair competition especially when my family\'s time and money are spent on events like this. My daughter was one of the kids selected and recognized for a Scholarship. I am giving my honest feedback that I strongly believe there is Politics on Studio\'s spending a certain amount of money to bring all their dances in there and Studio Owners making their intentions known on who their favorites are... Just sayin.. Anyone have ever felt that way or am I the only one... Lol
Convention was great. My daughter enjoyed the instructors and combos. Competition was ok. Teen competition ran very late and they had to be up very early the next morning to start classes, while the minis and junior didn\'t compete the night before and got to sleep in and start over an hour later. I hope they change that for next year. The girls were exhausted. Judging seemed ok but their critiques were not very nice or encouraging. Not what I expect for the amount of money we paid.
Crowded, but great! The energy, expertise, and reinvigorating spirit the staff bring make this a well worthwhile weekend! My girls absolutely loved every minute of it!
Ray Leeper runs a great convention. Top notch choreographers.
The best faculty, though there are often last minute changes.
Would have given 5 stars, however, the venue site really needs to be reconsidered! The ballrooms are not suited for dancing, and as another reviewer has stated, when crammed into a room, dancing on carpet, it only ends in disaster. A large part of this can be avoided if they move this amazing convention and competition to another site that can hold such a large venue! This Convention has my FAVORITE instructors!! They are amazing!! The most personal, most caring, and they want our children\'s to succeed. This is despite the children having to dance on carpet and in cramped rooms, where they really can not exsentuate their moves as they dance. I would highly recommend NUVO!! We will go back, hopefully to another site
Good event. Great faculty and staff. There were quite a few technical problems at the competition but the event staff handled it really well. Classes were a great mix with some fabulous instructors.
Classes were fun, competition was good. I heard that the studio owners select a certain number of kids from their own studios to receive certain scholarships (based on how many paid entries they brought. Class scholarships seemed pretty random and every studio got some, so I guess this could be true. Maybe all conventions do this?
I recently had a student compete in the junior category and this was my first experience with this competition. In my opinion, competitions held in convention venues and ballrooms were non conventional stages are used are never ideal. The stage seemed par for the course, the adjudication was accurate and the competition ran on time. Where I have my biggest stumbling block with this comp/convention company (as with so many others) is the venue that they hold their master classes in. Frankly, with the caliber of instructors teaching these convention classes I would expect them to be a voice for those poor dancers that are expected to dance in these subpar conditions. Are they blind to the fact that dancing on carpeted, un-raised floors are a dancers worst nightmare and are a recipe for disaster? I strongly suggested my student NOT participate in the classes to prevent getting injured. I only wish she and the parent would have listened to my suggestion. She brought home a souvenir from the convention... Shin splints and a twisted ankle! Parents, studio owners, and teachers, I urge you to boycott these type of dance experiences and make wiser choices for our young dancers. After all this is a business and these companies are clearly more interested in your dollar than your child\'s health!
Love the convention, not so much the competition. They are looking for specific styles of dance at the competitions and the same kids seem to win each time. The convention classes are awesome. Will definitely be back, just probably won\'t do the competition part.
wee hvent been to this comps cause you just cant go to the comps... you also have to tke the master courses that they offer.
Very positive experience!...excellent teachers, well organized, good venue! We loved it!
We traveled with our company IntenCity Dance Project from Las Vegas to Phoenix. My daughter had an amazing time. Competition was fierce and the classes were wonderful. My daughter Sophia enjoyed every minute of it all.
This was my dancer\'s 1st year on a competition team & NUVO was her 1st competition & convention. Wonderful instruction, family atmosphere constructive critiques & comraderie amongst all the dancers. She had the time of life. I couldn\'t have asked for a better experience for her!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the instructors at NUVO. Competition is fun too. Judges know what they are talking about and give helpful hints for improvements as well as what they like. You can tell they are knowledgable in all styles of dance.
#AMAZING!!! For my first convention, it was pretty memorable. I love the chance of working with famous and talented choreographer and dancers.
My daughter had an amazing time we are already looking forward to going back and the teachers were OUTSTANDING!!!!
This competition is fabulous. This was by far my daughters favorite convention that she has attended. They put on a spectacular show at the end of the weekend and the instructors are the best around. They push the kids to their limits and encourage them to keep going and to always do better. Love it and will definitely return.
This is my dancer\'s favorite convention. The faculty is top notch. Friday night classes are a great way to kick off the weekend. The combos are very challenging and I always see growth after a Nuvo weekend. The competition is really tough and that\'s great! My dancer is always pushed at Nuvo and that\'s how she grows. Highly recommend Nuvo and The Dance Awards. The talent at TDA is inspiring. By far the most difficult nationals we have ever attended. It was great to see my dancer rise to the challenge and leave inspired. Yes it\'s crowded but it was so well run my child still learned a lot.
Nuvo is the best of all the break the floor comps! They have the best instructors and staff. Fantastic every year!
Great convention, great teachers, great staff! Only complaint is that classes were very crowded and competition started Friday morning.
We LOVE Nuvo! So professional and organized and amazing teachers! My favorite convention by far! :)
Teachers were great but rooms too small for the number of dancers
We love Nuvo! Everytime it comes I am always very pleased, they make an effort to make everything about dance and technique and not just favoring the bigger studios. I love the staff and they always have such great words of wisdom for the children and my kids leave excited and inspired. Nuvo makes every effort to keep the volume of kids in each room to a manageable level in which every child can still learn and be safe. I also love the competition part- the judging seems to be fair and based on what the judges feel is the \"best of technique, choreography and performance\" which I think is the best way to inspire dancers to be the best! We will be going back to this convention and competition every year!
good teachers @ convention
Convention was great. Bathe girls loved the classes! The competition was horrible! The girls danced all day and the competition went late into the night. They only had 5 dances to change. The judges and adjudication was aweful. How can dancers that pull platinums score only high silvers?? I heard this complaint from many. You are supposed to build their confidence not tear it down! I would do the convention again but will never attend another NUVO competition!! Very expensive!!! Overcrowded !
My studio loves to attend NUVO because of the high caliber of talent in Dallas. We love the teachers and positive energy of the convention. On the negative side, this year the Hyatt Regency in Dallas was undergoing construction, so the elevators were always packed with people. This convention attracts the most well known studios in Texas, and the Best Dancers from the Dance Awards are so inspirational for the dancers.
Great experience! Most of the teachers were very engaged with the dancers in the mini (6-8) room. Huge energy and encouraging but realistic audition section. Overall well run and positive experience.
great experience for my daughter. Scholarships are an honor but hardly cover the cost of the intensives and all of the options are on the West Coast. faculty are excellent.
Great classes, great competition and tons of scholarships.. Only wish a lot of them were not for the LA extensive..
This is my daughter\'s second time to attend Nuvo but her first time to compete. I love this convention and all it\'s amazing faculty. They are so professional and they really focus on technique and executing steps correctly but they are never condescending while issuing corrections, they have the students learn really fun combos as well. Judging on the comp side was fair but all the judges are quick to find and point out those technical mistakes. This convention does have a big \"star\" draw so rooms can be kind if crowded but that\'s my only real complaint. The crowds are worth it to have your dancer take classes from these amazing teachers.
Wonderful convention with great teachers! My kids have attended with their dance company for the past 3 years and enjoyed every minute of it.
My daughter\'s team attended NUVO in Bethesda, MD this past weekend. This was our first time at NUVO. While she had a blast and did exceptionally well, my rating is purely based on scheduling. The 45 minute classes seemed so much shorter than the hour we normally get with choreographers. Also, the competition was highly overbooked. My 7 year old danced at 7:30 am on a Friday morning meaning she missed another day of school and we had to pay for an additional night in the botel.
Great competition. We love this competition. However, they really need to change the venue in Dearborn Michigan. We have gone every year for several years now and the venue gets worse every year. They never seem to have enough staff at the hotel to accommodate everyone for breakfast, dinners, cleaning the bathrooms, or the hotel rooms. Also, the dressing rooms are on the other side of the hotel, so the dancers are running across the lobby. Two years, we made our own \"makeshift dressing rooms\" with our dream duffles and table covers because there is so little turnover time. Last year, I saw a girl from another studio change in the middle of the lobby in front of EVERYONE. Please change your venue.
We have attended NUVO for two years now in Tulsa and the staff is wonderful. They are personable and wait after each class for pictures with the kids. The dancing is amazing and our dancers are in awe of the teaching talent. The competition part is tough since a lot of fantastic dancers attend this competition. Will keep going back to this one!
Great convention! We\'ve attended for the last 4-5 years and have never been disappointed. It\'s well organized, has great faculty and helpful staff. Can\'t wait for this year!
Loved this convention and competition! Will be returning
INCREDIBLE competition. Definitely the highest caliber of talent available. Great judges, great teachers, polite studios/dancers, and a competition that runs on time!! The convention is spot-on. Everyone loves NUVO at our studio! We go as much as we can.
Nuvo is easily the best convention we attend! Every class with Anthony is amazing! He is such a great tap teacher. Love!
My dancers and my teachers have just adored this convention! The teachers are amazing and our studio always comes back from the weekend feeling re-energized and ready to get back to class. Well organized. I cannot say enough positive things about NUVO.
Definitely the best of the \"Break the Floor\" conventions. Staff is very friendly and very good. Everything runs smoothly including competitions and they are very accommodating to anything you need. Loved it!
My dancers love Nuvo! The teachers are amazing every year and it\'s a great experience.
Love NUVO! Again, great teachers and they\'re all so friendly to the dancers. Only complaint again are the crowds in the workshop rooms
My very favorite this year!!!! The teachers not only inspired the children but the parents as well. They come to class to help the kids not just teach them a combo. I was so impressed. It has been a very positive experience for us.
LOVED NUVO!! The teachers were amazing - so much energy, challenging choreography, willing to stay after class for autographs and pictures. Can\'t wait to go back!
My daughter had a blast!
My daughter loved NUVO. She has learned how to get the most out of crowded convention rooms and loved the energy of the teachers. She loved that the teachers didn\'t just focus on the kids next to the stage and really seemed to know how to work the whole room. With that being said, they dropped a few sites this year which made it impossible for us to attend. Unless they add more sites back to the schedule we will not be able to attend next year either:(
My dancer loved this convention. She enjoyed the teachers and brought home some great information. I wish we attend this more often!
Loved the teachers and staff - very professional, and my daughters learned a lot. The judging was strict, but fair. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars was the scheduling - solos started at 1 on Friday, which is not something we were used to. Wish they would have stuck to the advertised 4pm start time. But if the early start doesn\'t bother you, this is a five star event!
We really want to love Nuvo but good grief could they POSSIBLY fit more people in? The rooms have gotten unbelievably crowded, solos run ALL DAY on Friday so dancers have to skip school to participate, and run very late into the night on Saturday. Kids just can\'t dance on 5-6 hours of sleep. Nothing about this is healthy or good for dancers - enough of the greed and the money. Limit the number of dancers that can compete or be in a room, or split up the convention rooms so that dancers have some space to move. That said. Mark Meismer\'s classes are worth the price of admission.
One of our favorite competitions. Great teachers, fast awards, and fair judging. Doesn\'t get any better than this.
This was the first time my daughter attended NUVO but it won\'t be the last, she loved it!! Break the Floor is well organized and puts on great conventions. The teachers were great! Everything ran smoothly. It\'s crowded though, very crowded and there were so many groups competing awards were after midnight. But with that said, the quality was still high enough to give it top rating!
My kids loved this convention. It can get overcrowded but the instruction is great!
Outstanding staff, excellent critiques from competition. Despite a massive ice storm the show went on as planned with staff doing whatever they could to make it a special experience for our dancers. Furthermore, with many cancellations due to weather they easily could have combined rooms and levels but kept everything as advertised. Excellent job! We attended a second city later in the year and my daughter moved up rooms. Same amazing experience. Nuvo is by far the best of the Break the Floor conventions.
OVERCROWED OVERCROWED OVERCROWED.....here\'s a thought, either cut off the attendees at a certain point or add a new city or two!!... just a thought!!
Our studio had a great time at Nuvo. The rooms in our city were not overcrowded as others are reporting. The instructors were fantastic. My dancers would love to attend again.
So excited this is coming to our area this year! Very amazing choreographers!!
Nuvo was our first convention ever. I didn\'t know what to expect but came out of there having learned a lot. I am sure we will be back
Can\'t say enough about NUVO. Our students have about 4 months until NUVO and they\'re already counting down. It\'s fantastic!
Just attended in Indianapolis. Our studio loved NUVO! The teachers were amazing, the kids had a ball and learned a ton! Props to Anthony Morigerato, what an inspiration! Kids had plenty of room to dance at our convention.
Fabulous workshop! Kim is amazing with the kids! It's run very smoothly. We love going!
Love Travis and Ray Leeper and Chabot and all the other faculty and assistants. I would consider limiting or doing away with parent observer passes, that would make the rooms less crowded and less distracting. I send my daughter because she loves to dance I support by leaving and letting her work. do these parents sit in the studios with their dancers... They are rude to the kids, they talk, text, take pictures and block access to the kids bags.
Great staff! Ballrooms are too crowded, but overall great experience.
Top notch teaching but there are soooo many dancers in the room, there is no where to dance. Increase the price and cut the number of dancers and I'd reconsider
This convention was great, can\'t think of anything I didn\'t like about it!
By far my dancers\' favorite convention. We have gone for years and it doesn\'t matter if they are in the youngest or oldest room - the instruction is fabulous.
we loved NUVO! Even with the large amount of kids I still felt our kiddos got proper attention. And the teachers you could tell really wanted to be there helping.
Way too big now. they have like 800 kids per room - has lost that special intimate feel. Kids running into one another. Big fire hazard. Not worth returning to. What a bummer - used to be great.
Excellent convention! Only complaint is too much contemporary. But the staff is great and the teacher classes are outstanding so as I director me & my kids get a lot out of this convention. We go every year!
Amazing! This convention is what dance is about. Werk!
Great convention! We\'ve attended for the last 4-5 years and have never been disappointed. It\'s well organized, has great faculty and helpful staff.
great classes if you can stand the crowded rooms. this one is packed.
Daughter did this one a few years ago...she liked it but said she would rather go to JUMP instead
I absolutely love this convention!! The teachers are amazing and choreograph amazing dances meant to challenge all the students in the class. The competition isn\'t my favorite, but the convention completely makes up for it. I always learn something every time I attend. I would highly recommend going.
Incredibly fun and challenging convention. Tap with Anthony Morigerato is the best class ever. The only downside is when Ray Leeper singles people out in a negative way. Competition is very challenging and good. Judges know what they are talking about.
This convention is super fun. All the students feel like they had learned a lot from the convention. The teachers connect with the students and make sure all of them are getting something out of the class. The competition is also super fun and entertaining. The teachers' comments were really useful to the dancers. This convention was amazing and I loved it!
Although nuvo is a bit crowded, anything is worth seeing Ivan koumaev and Travis wall. Nuvo continues to inspire me year after year and I grow so much as a dancer each time I go.
Really loved class Anthony is the best.ever. Only problem is how crowded the rooms are
NUVO is one of my favorite conventions Anthony is life changing Ivan is also life changing I think you should go here.
Great experience!!! Its so cool to learn from their faculty and it neat to meet famous dancers from SYTYCD!!!!! Class is great but sometimes the rooms are a little crowded!!!! Travis Wall is the best choreographer in the world and i absolutely love him!!!!
Chebar is an OG
gotta love taking class from the tap god, Anthony Morgerato
Our students always have a great time at this competition. It is extremely well run and put together. It does tend to be a bit large so you need to be prepared for full ballrooms for classes. They started a new teachers seminar this year which was very helpful and informative! A wonderful convention/competition!
